" While I agree with another reviewer's comments about being kept waiting, I think Dr. Lewis is amazing. A friend I referred to her described her as the Michelangelo of Botox! I have had the most natural looking results from her work and think she does an amazing job but she is pricey and you do end up waiting! "

" Excellent doctor that cares. Dr Lewis was running late and kept me waiting and I asked her why she was late. She explained that her previous patient had condition that required extra time and attention, and she did not want to rush the patient until she was calm and re-assured. I have been going to Dr Lewis for more than 10 years and recommend her. She is friendly and very skilled. "

" Dr. Lewis and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and work together as the most efficient team I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient with. They are intensely thorough in every appointment. Amy also makes the most wonderful retinol products which are reasonably priced. It has worked wonders on my skin. Every visit is so informative. I learn new ways to care for my skin and home practice for taking care of dry patches, blemishes, etc. I am 27 years old and starting to develop pre-cancerous spots, which Amy is treating. She walks me through everything that she is doing and makes me feel comfortable about something which is relatively new and scary to me. All members of her staff are kind and go out of their way to make each visit very pleasant. I am incredibly happy with Dr. Lewis and in just two visits I have already seen a transformation in my skin. I will never go anywhere else! "

" So frustrating. She is lovely when you meet her in her the office but that only comes after keeping you waiting for over an hour. She does not return phone calls even when they're regarding lab results. I waited 6 weeks for lab results and was told she would call me. She never did despite the fact that I left a couple of messages. Only a nurse would answer my questions and only if they were rudimentary. Not returning a call regarding lab results? What kind of doctor doesn't respond to this kind of request? I was told she would discuss the lab results with me further if I came into the office and made an appt (and thereby pay again for her time.) Agree with both previous reviewers, she is not considerate of your time. Only hers. Disappointing and frustrating. "

" Dr. Lewis can literally transform your skin medically and cosmetically. She is always up to date with the latest treatments and really knows her stuff. She doesn't necessarily follow fads if that's not right for your skin. On top of her competence and skill she is a lovely warm and funny person. "

" Dr. Lewis sees multiple patients at once - she puts you in a room, does one or two injections, then leaves you sitting there. She then goes to other exam rooms to inject/see different patients while you're left waiting - sometimes for 5 minutes, sometimes for 20 minutes. Then she'll rush back into your exam room, do another couple of injections, and vanish again. In her waiting room, I was always kept waiting far beyond my appointment times before even being put in an exam room. All this waiting - both between injections during a treatment visit and in her waiting room - is ridiculous for the prices she charges. I'm in my early 30s with minimal wrinkles. I'd get Botox in my forehead and between my brows. I'd also get some filler in my nasolabial folds and by the edges of my mouth. Dr Lewis charged $2,000+ for this. My results were good, but they were never outstanding. More often than not my eyebrows would turn out uneven with one being raised up higher than the other. She'd correct this for no additional charge, but it did mean returning for another visit and going through the merry-go-round of sitting, waiting, having her leave between injections, etc again. When paying $2,000+ for minimal Botox and filler I'd except exceptional results; I never got them from Dr. Lewis. Also, her lack of individual attention because she's seeing multiple patients simultaneously was disappointing. The poor office experience and the so-so results are not worth the prices Dr. Lewis charges. "

" BEWARE OF DR. AMY LEWIS!!! Like we all are, I am extremely busy but felt compelled to write this review to help women. I moved into NYC and decided to try Dr. Amy Lewis, a dermatologist, for Botox, which I have done for years with another doctor. Simply put, DO NOT, DO NOT, let her anywhere near your face and DO NOT, DO NOT throw away your hard-earned money. First and foremost, although Dr. Lewis appeared to inject me in the places I normally receive Botox, after 4 short weeks, there was still complete (yes, complete) movement in those specific areas she injected me. Absolutely nothing was even remotely different. Worse yet, what normally cost me $500 from my former physician, Dr. Amy Lewis charged me $1,300. I am not clinical, but can only surmise that perhaps she watered down the botox, making it totally ineffective? I did call her but she never returned the call. Unfortunately, I just now read Dr. Lewis' YELP and other reviews. The absurd overcharging and terrible or lack there of results are a common occurrence and theme in most all of her reviews! Although a bit of a hike, at the fourth week, I returned to my old doctor. I didn't mention I had Botox done 4 weeks ago. My old doctor said I was definitely in need of it and she injected me in all the same routine spots. The treatment typically lasts 3.5 months and I always see results within 8-10 days. Not at all the case with Dr. Lewis. I am back to normal now. Although I threw away a lot of money with no results whatsoever, I feel sorry for my girlfriend who also decided to try Dr. Lewis at about the same time. As opposed to no results from Botox, my friend is beyond upset about the filler results from Dr. Lewis. She is badly bruised, has lumps and just looks weird and bad. Lastly, Dr. Lewis was an hour late. She was cold and had an attitude. Before your procedure, a nurse or staff person speaks to you and tries to hard sell you other procedures. I said no to all of them. Perhaps this is the cause of Dr. Lewis' attitude? Her office is dirty and old and her staff are also with attitude. After reading all of her other highly negative reviews recently, I checked out her website. The scariest part is that there is NO information on Dr. Lewis' website about her background, training or any picture of her. The only thing that is stated is: "Appointments are Always Available. Click here to get an Instant Appointment." It's no wonder that appointments are "ALWAYS AVAILABLE"! S-C-A-R-RY!!! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!!! It's your face. "

" Dr. Amy Lewis is a gem! She has a great hand and a great eye with all cosmetic dermatologic procedures. I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to see her, and I have always found her to be super professional while also being kind and caring. She works with me to get the best bang for my dollar with various treatments. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for any cosmetic dermatology! "

" BEWARE. I was so bruised i could not go out for a week! She went to room to room to see patients and left me many times. Charged a fortune and was just the worst. Her ADD was evident. AVOID AT ALL COSTS "

" Dr Amy Lewis is the Skin Whisperer! She has the best knowledge base regarding laser treatments and procedures. She voluntarily gives you a recommendation for a skin care regimen that includes facial and body sunscreen. What separates her from other dermatologists is her technique. You look natural and refreshed, not over done or frozen. I'm a patient now for life! "
